Dar Maur Manor

DarMaur Manor opened in 1989 specializing in Saddlebreds and Morgans.
Over the past 20 years, we have expanded our specialty to also include
Hackney Ponies. We are located just 5 miles south of New Hartford in
Sauquoit, New York, about 10 minutes from the New York State Thruway. At
DarMaur Manor, we offer training, saddle seat riding and driving lessons,

property, and are available and happy to meet with you at any time.

Our trainer, Christopher Carrick, comes to Dar Maur Manor with 20 years
training experience throughout the Northeast and Michigan. Specializing in
Saddlebreds, Hackney Ponies, and Morgans, Chris has earned an
impressive show record throughout Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin,
Illinois, and Kentucky. Chris offers training of Saddlebreds, Morgans, and
Hackney Ponies, as well as lesson instruction in driving, and Saddleseat
riding and equitation.

Our lesson instructor, Laura Denale, has more than 20 years of rated and
open show experience. She has instructed both aspiring and experienced
riders of all ages in saddle seat equitation for the last 12 years. Her
students have competed in leadline, walk-trot, academy, and open saddle
seat equitation and performance classes with great show ring success.

Our owners, Thomas and Maureen Quackenbush have over 20 years
experience working with horses and offer only the finest care for you and
your equine.
